Senator raised question about construction of fourth refinery in Kazakhstan

Astana. October 12. KazTAG - Sarsenbay Yensegenov, deputy of Senate, has raised a question about construction of a new refinery in Kazakhstan.

"We know that decisions are being taken in connection with fuel deficit. But why no system measures are taken to provide fuel on the state level? Why don't you raise the question about new plant construction for fuel production," he said in his deputy request addressed to Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

He requested the information about arrangements to be held in this field.

"The situation that we have faced today is unclear for people. We produce big volumes of lubricants, some refineries conduct modernization. We can say that modernization is conducted in a wrong time, for this reason there is a failure and people face fuel deficit," he said.
