Mr. Jabbar Al-Luiebi the minister of oil said that the signature of this number of memorandums of understanding & cooperation is a significant event and a perfect quantum leap in the bilateral relations between the two countries…
Especially in the sectors of oil and energy which contributes to expand the size of bilateral cooperation.
The memorandums included many aspects, such as the investment, cooperation, industry, partnership, importing raw materials & supplies of infrastructure, pipelines, technical services, well drilling and development etc.… and the companies of up-streaming, refining sector, gas, oil projects and drilling was the beneficiaries of this cooperation. As well as the other previous agreements which included the sectors of marketing, training and else.
Mr. Al-Luiebi said also that the bilateral relations witnessed a significant development during the last period, in addition to the visits and associated committees to speed-up building a strong base for the bilateral cooperation between the “brothers”.
Mr. Khalid Al-Falih the Saudi minister of energy confirmed on the keenness of his country to enforce the relations with the brothers in Iraq, and the Saudi important companies will open their branches in Iraq to achieve more bilateral cooperation and expand the size of investments in the sectors of oil, gas, industry, importing, infrastructure and else.
Mr. Al-Falih said also that the bilateral cooperation between the “two brother countries” did not include the bilateral cooperation only. But it included also the unifying of visions and stances in OPEC.
It is worthy to say that Mr. Al-Falih have arrived at Monday the 4th of December to Basrah and was heading a delegation to participate in the Basrah oil & energy fair which includes 22 Saudi companies and 66 business men.
