Gazpromneft-Orenburg is expanding its environmental monitoring system using cutting-edge environmental monitoring stations and modern mobile laboratories, the company informed.
The company's total investment in environmental protection will exceed RUB 1.8 billion in 2019.
Gazpromneft-Orenburg has completed the creation of a fleet of mobile environmental labs. A state-of-the-art eco-laboratory based on a KAMAZ truck started daily service at the Eastern section of the Orenburg oil and gas condensate field in July. The new mobile environmental control station features gas analysis equipment and weather equipment. The modern systems analyze the atmospheric pool, humidity, pressure, temperature, wind speed and direction around the clock.
Gazprom Neft PJSC (tax number: 5504036333) and its subsidiaries own 61 licenses for the prospecting and development of oil fields. The proven oil reserves in the company's fields exceed 4.5 billion barrels. The company's largest shareholder is Gazprom Group.
IFRS net profit of PJSC Gazprom Neft for the first quarter of 2019 attributable to the company's shareholders increased by 54.9% to RUB 107.894 billion from RUB 69.665 billion a year earlier. Revenue increased by 12.6% to RUB 586.359 billion from RUB 520.633 billion. Adjusted EBITDA increased by 26.9% year-on-year to RUB 197.7 billion.
