LUKOIL allocates money for fight against COVID-19

Since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic LUKOIL has donated more than RUB 652 million in 22 Russian regions and almost USD 900,000 in its operation countries abroad to treat patients and fight the spread of the disease, the company informed.

The bulk of the aid was donated to acquire medical equipment, including artificial respiration units, drugs, protective gear for healthcare workers, sanitizers, and to reoutfit medical institutions.

The company donated more than RUB 125 million to help the disadvantaged groups in 11 regions.

LUKOIL made donations in 15 foreign countries, such as Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Iraq, Italy, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Mexico, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Turkey, UAE, and Uzbekistan.

LUKOIL is one of the world's biggest publicly traded vertically-integrated oil and gas companies accounting for more than 2% of global oil production and about 1% of proven hydrocarbon reserves.
