Expo Russia – Uzbekistan – a convenient platform for expanding business cooperation

The second international industrial exhibition Expo Russia – Uzbekistan 2019 kicked off in Tashkent.

The event, aimed at further strengthening trade-economic relations between Uzbekistan and Russia, is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the Russian Export Center and JSC Zarubezh-Expo.

The international industrial exhibition was first organized in Uzbekistan in April 2018. At that time, more than 200 domestic and Russian companies involved in production of technologies for power industry, mechanical engineering, metallurgy, construction industry, transport logistics, telecommunications, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, agro-industrial complex, and introduction of digital technologies, took part in the event. Participation in the current exhibition of more than 400 companies testifies to the mutual interest of the two parties in development of trade-economic relations.

Special pavilions of the exhibition demonstrate modern technologies for processing, loading and storing products of the oil and gas industry, ensuring security at infrastructure facilities, equipment for mining, metallurgical, machine-building, energy and construction industries.

The exhibition also demonstrates innovative developments made in Russia.

In addition, Expo Russia – Uzbekistan 2019 contributes to holding negotiations on development of Uzbekistan – Russia cooperation in preparation of qualified specialists for the pharmaceutical, medical industry, agro-industrial complex and other sectors of Uzbekistan.
