August 12, Fineko/abc.az. In July 2020 the oil transit through the territory of Ukraine via main pipelines increased by 27.1% (to 1.3 million tons) compared with the 2019 same period.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to news agency APA that information about this was distributed by Ukrainian operator of the main oil pipeline system Ukrtransnafta.
In addition, last month Ukrtransnafta transported more than 170,000 tons of oil to Ukraine’s oil refineries. This indicator is 15.3% less versus July 2019. 116,400 tons of transported oil were Ukrainian oil, 11,300 Azerbaijani oil, and 42,300 America’s oil.
In July 2020 the total volume of oil transportation increased by 20.3% (up to 1.5 million tons) against July 2019. The volume of the transported oil made up 8.8 million tons for the first 7 months of 2020 (by 11.6% more versus the same term of 2019).
Over Jan-Jul 2020 the oil transportation to Ukrainian refineries amounted to 1.5 million tons (a rise of 14.5% versus the same period in 2019), transit 7.4 million tons (a rise of 11.1% against the 2019 same term), of which more than 400,000 tons were transported to the Mozyr oil refinery in Belarus.
