Gregory “Greg” L. Johnson, 55, of Cheyenne passed away Feb. 6 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
He was born March 28, 1963, in Newcastle to LaVern and Sheila Johnson.
He married Jennifer Black on Sept. 1, 2001, in Newcastle. He was a head operator for Holly Frontier Refinery and was formerly on the refinery Fire Brigade.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Johnson of Cheyenne; children, Nicholas Casey and Ashley Casey of Cheyenne; parents, Sheila (Jim Parks) Johnson of Newcastle and LaVern (Carolyn) Johnson of Newcastle; sisters, Jodi Smith of Rawlins and Tina Johnson of Newcastle; nieces, Morgan (Alex) Bass, Montana (Josh) Russell and Payton Ellingford; father-in-law, Ray Black; brothers-in-law, Raymond Black and William (Cindy Woodworth) Black; sister-in-law, Nadine Black (Charlie Swainson) and family; aunts and uncles, Kathy (Curt) Allen, Bonnie Davis; cousins, Randy and Annette Quest and family, Rick (Debbie) Quest, George (Vicki) Johnston; and numerous friends and family.
