On October 5, 2018, in the office of Zarubezhneft JSC, the General Director of the Company Sergey Kudryashov met with the Minister of Petroleum of the Republic of South Sudan Ezekil Lol Gatkuot. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Sudan Telar Ring Deng, Avau Daniel Chuang, General Director of the Oil Agency, and Chol Abel, the National Oil and Gas Company Nile Petroleum Corporation, also took part in the meeting.
Following the talks on the prospects for joint implementation of oil projects in South Sudan, the parties agreed to work out possible forms of cooperation in the field of geological exploration, the use of EOR and technologies in the territory of the Republic of South Sudan.
